Home or New Tab is controlled by an extension

If your Home page or New Tab page changed and shows as controlled by an extension, a browser add-on set itself to manage those pages.

Change it back

Section titled “Change it back”
  1. Open Menu > Extensions.
  2. Disable or remove the extension that controls your Home/New Tab page.
  3. Open Settings > Home and choose your preferred Home page and New Tab page content.

Tip: If you want to keep the extension, check its options to adjust what appears.
